D.A. Carson on private prayer languages

In Joel Willitts and Michael Bird’s blog, Euangelion, they have a great, though rather detailed, quote from the eminent evangelical theologian, D.A. Carson supporting the private use of a prayer language in light of 1 Corinthians 12:7.

I hadn't realized Carson held this view. He ranks all the higher in my estimation, now.

It seems a lot of the Reformed theologians are coming around to a more open position and aren't as die-hard cessationist as the mainstream Reformed guys are. Must be from hanging around John Piper and his crew.

Good cite.

Rich.
